1. Can I cancel my order once it has been submitted?

Unless your order has been marked as shipped, you will still have time to cancel your order.  Please contact Customer Service for more information and details.

2. Can I change my order once submitted?

You can still change your order after it’s submitted, as long as the item wasn’t marked as shipped.  Please contact Customer Service for more information and details.

3. Do you offer student discount?

We do offer discounts for students currently in Cosmetology School.  Simply provide us a copy of your status, and we can apply additional discounts.  We encourage students to practice with our hair and continue to grow.

4. What are the payment options? Is there any international transaction fee?

We will accept wire transfers, credit cards, & PayPal.  There is not additional international transaction fee, but the international receiver will have to deal with the customs and duties fees.

5. My payment is not going through?

There’s no need to worry.  If the online payment system is not working, simply contact our Customer Service, and we will help finalize your order.

6. What is the shipping rate and policy?

We offer many different shipping options like Ground, 2nd Day Air, 3 Day Select, & Next Day Air.  Shipping rates vary depending on the weight and dimension of the package.  
We pride ourselves in doing our best to get the packages out the same day the order is placed.  However, if orders are placed after 3PM Central time, then it will most likely get sent out the following business day.

7. Will you provide a tracking number?

We will provide a tracking number to our customers to ensure proper and safe delivery of the order.

8. What is the United States sales tax policy? 

We will only charge sales tax for customers purchasing from the State of Illinois.

9. Why are Hair Overstock hair pieces Non-Returnable if opened?

Due to sanitary and health reasons, we cannot accept items if they have been open or used.  Please feel free to check out the item before using it.

10. Any wrong address disclaimer?

Customer is responsible for inputting their correct shipping & billing information.  If you feel that you made a mistake, please contact Customer Service and they will try to adjust the address before the package gets sent out.  Hair Overstock will not be responsible for any wrong addresses or stopped packages.

11. What is the return or exchange policy?

Hair Overstock offers returns for most items within 60 days (ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS) of the shipment date.  Returns/exchange authorization is required prior to shipping your items with us. Returns will not be accepted 60 days after the shipment date.

Requirements for a Full Refund

  • Items must be in brand new condition
  • All tags and original packaging must be fully intact
  • Items must not be used or worn
  • Item must be returned within 45 days

Requirements for an exchange

  • Item must be returned within 45 days for even exchange. If after 45 days, a 20% restocking fee will be applied.
  • All tags and original packaging must be fully intact
  • Items must not be used or worn
  • Items must be in brand new condition

A 20% restocking fee will be charged for the following

  • If the packaging/tags are missing or seem to be damaged
  • If the return is between 45 and 60 days
12. How do I make a return or exchange and do I have to pay for return shipping?

If there is a defect in the product, please contact our Customer Service and they will provide a return shipping label.  However, if you are simply exchanging an item, then you would have to cover the return shipping costs.

13. When will I receive my exchange?

After we receive the product on our end and inspect the condition, then we will send out the exchanged item to your location.

14. When will I receive my refund?

After we receive the returned items, and inspect the condition, then we will be able to move forward with the refund.
